FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Answers to common questions before visiting us here at Enigma Escape Room! Please do not hesitate to call or email with any questions or concerns!
What is an escape room?
An escape room is an immersive, themed adventure experience where your team solves puzzles, uncovers clues, and completes a mission—often escaping the room—within a set time limit.
How long does the experience last?
Each game lasts 60 minutes, but please plan for about 90 minutes total, including check-in, briefing, and your post-game debrief and photos.
What happens if we arrive late?
Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your reservation time.
Your game starts promptly at the time you booked.
If you arrive late, you may still play, but your game time will be shortened to allow our staff time to reset the room for the next group. (If your game is 60 minutes and you arrive 30 minutes late, you will only have 30 minutes to play)
Please allow time for parking, restrooms and completing waivers, prior to your start time.
Do I need any special skills?
No special skills or prior knowledge are required. All puzzles are designed to be solved using logic, teamwork, and observation.
How many people can play?
Most rooms accommodate 2–10 players, depending on the design and theme.
Are we really locked in?
No. For safety reasons, the entry door never locks. You may exit at any time. The goal is to complete the mission—not to physically trap anyone.
Is it scary?
No- but depends on the theme. Many rooms are adventure-based and not scary, while others include atmospheric or suspenseful elements.
None of our rooms are intentionally designed to frighten players, but we do use authentic theming while keeping all experiences family-friendly.
What age groups can play?
Our escape rooms are recommended for ages 10+. Younger children may participate with an adult but may be limited in how much they can participate.
For groups with players under 16, a parent or guardian must be present. All rooms are designed to be fun for families of all ages.
Are cell phones or cameras permitted?
You may bring them, but they cannot be used to solve puzzles or assist in the game.
No photos or videos may be taken inside the rooms to prevent spoilers for future players.
After your experience, you’ll have time for group photos!
What happens if we get stuck on a puzzle?
Your Game Master will be monitoring your progress and can provide hints when requested. Our goal is for you to have fun—not get frustrated.
Do you accept walk-ins?
Walk-ins may be available if a room is open, but we strongly recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time
Can you host parties or corporate events?
Absolutely! Escape rooms are perfect for team-building, birthdays, celebrations, or large groups. Contact us and we’ll help arrange the ideal experience for your group.
Where can I park?
There is on-street parking on Main Street, a public parking lot directly across the street (with a crosswalk), and additional parking behind the building.
Can I step out of the room during the game?
Yes, you may step out at any time.
Please note: the game timer does not stop while you are out of the room.
What should I do if I need to book multiple rooms or a party?
Just give us a call! We’ll work with you to schedule multiple rooms—often with simultaneous start times.
Do I need to book in advance?
Reservations are highly recommended. They ensure your preferred day and time are secured.
While we accept walk-ins when possible, availability is not guaranteed, especially on busy days.
Who will be in the escape room with me?
All experiences are private.
You will never be placed with strangers. A minimum number of tickets is required to reserve a room.
What if I need to change or cancel my reservation?
Changes or cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled reservation for a full refund.
Please call or email us to make adjustments.
Can we play if we’re pregnant or have mobility concerns?
Yes. Our rooms are designed to be as accessible and safe as possible.
Please note that our entrance has three stairs, so wheelchair accessibility is limited.
If you have specific concerns, contact us—we’ll walk you through the room & facility layout.
